Brooker Hwy Corridor
The Brooker Hwy is a barrier for residents of Lutana, Prince of Wales Bay, Goodwood and students of Montrose Bay High. Providing a north-south route on the eastern side of the Brooker Hwy allows for movement up and down the corridor.

Nov 2011. Glenorchy Council received $2.32 million in funding from the Australian Government to extend the pathway to Wilkinsons Point. Work is expected to commence in 2012 and be completed by 2013. Council has completed the section of path between Intercity Cycleway at Driscoll Park in Rosetta to the foreshore at Montrose High School and will be working on the next stage in front of the Montrose yacht club (which will hopefully be complete by January 2012).
Howard Rd & Gepp Parade
Apr 2021 - A section of the footpath along Howard Road between Giblin Reserve and Negara Cresent has been widened to maximise the width of the path so that it can be used by people on bicycles who are reluctant to ride on the roadway. Kerb ramps have also been added. It provides a link between Giblin Reserve, the the local shop and the model park and access to the Bowen Bridge path and Loyd Lane behind the racecourse to GASP on the other side of Goodwood Road.
Lutana to Cycleway

The footpath along the eastern side of the Brooker Hwy provides a relatively flat route between Derwent Park Road and Risdon Road and is used by people cycling north-south. Upgrades to the corridor such as a separated cycleway and a path extension from Risdon Road to the Intercity Cycleway would complete the route.
